Purpose of Position:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and practical knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/KEY JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including subcontractor management, material deliveries, and work progress, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel on-site.
Interpret and enforce project plans, specifications, and drawings, ensuring construction
activities comply with design requirements and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to assess workmanship, identify
defects or deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve
technical issues, address conflicts, and ensure smooth project execution.
Manage and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos,
inspection records, and safety documentation, to track project milestones and compliance.
Monitor and manage project schedules, milestones, and deadlines, identifying potential delays
or obstacles and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers,
to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project requirements are met.
Supervise and mentor construction crew members, laborers, and subcontractors, providing
guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials,
equipment, and resources to support construction activities on-site.

Timely completion of construction projects within established deadlines.
Adherence to project budgets and cost control measures, including minimizing rework and material waste.
Safety performance metrics, including accident/incident rates, near misses, and implementation of corrective actions.
Quality of workmanship and compliance with project specifications, assessed through inspections and quality control checks.
Client satisfaction ratings based on project outcomes, communication effectiveness, and responsiveness to client needs.
Efficiency of construction operations, measured by labor productivity, equipment utilization, and resource optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour) preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction supervision or related role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
