Purpose of Position:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and practical knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/KEY JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include but not limited to the following:

  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including subcontractor management, material deliveries, and work progress, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Interpret and enforce project plans, specifications, and drawings, ensuring construction
    activities comply with design requirements and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to assess workmanship, identify
    defects or deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve
    technical issues, address conflicts, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos,
    inspection records, and safety documentation, to track project milestones and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage project schedules, milestones, and deadlines, identifying potential delays
    or obstacles and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers,
    to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Supervise and mentor construction crew members, laborers, and subcontractors, providing
    guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials,
    equipment, and resources to support construction activities on-site.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Timely completion of construction projects within established deadlines.
  • Adherence to project budgets and cost control measures, including minimizing rework and material waste.
  • Safety performance metrics, including accident/incident rates, near misses, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Quality of workmanship and compliance with project specifications, assessed through inspections and quality control checks.
  • Client satisfaction ratings based on project outcomes, communication effectiveness, and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Efficiency of construction operations, measured by labor productivity, equipment utilization, and resource optimization.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards on-site.
  • Leadership and team performance, demonstrated by teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour) preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction supervision or related role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism in all aspects of construction supervision.
